Meriah McCauley Fields, MA
Meriah Fields is a transformational coach, educator, and speaker—with a forthcoming book The Return to Wholeness. She has taught across the globe at some of the world’s premier health and wellness institutes.
With a grounded understanding of neurobiology and a deep respect for the sacred, Meriah bridges science and spirituality through mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork. Her work weaves together somatic healing, trauma-informed care, and inner transformation—guiding people home to their bodies, their truth, and their wholeness.
“My journey into healing truly began in the womb. My mother discovered she was pregnant with me, around four months in—while moving through a cobra pose on her mat. She’d turned to yoga to support her struggles with her body and trauma, and in many ways, that sacred thread was passed on to me.
When I finally took my first yoga class at 16, I felt for the first time what it was like to be at home in my body. As a teenager, movement became my medicine—offering relief from severe anxiety and a glimpse of confidence I deeply needed. But by the age of 25, after surviving an abusive relationship, addictions, and an eating disorder, I found myself at rock bottom. That moment cracked me open—and became the catalyst for a profound spiritual and somatic awakening.
In 2013, I landed in the jungle of Nosara, Costa Rica, where I completed over 1000-hours of interdisciplinary yoga education with Dr. Don and Amba Stapleton of Kripalu, amongst other teachers. I lived and studied there for three years—immersed in nature, undergoing a deep unraveling of everything I thought I knew. I sat in sacred ceremony with Mother Ayahuasca, experienced a powerful kundalini awakening, and was given visions and guidance that revealed what I needed to heal—not only in myself, but across intergenerational and transpersonal dimensions.
That awakening led me back to the U.S., where I deepened my academic studies in spiritual psychology and the neurobiology of trauma, healing, and human potential. I became committed to bridging science and spirituality—to showing people that inner work and somatic embodiment can truly rewire our brains, repair our nervous systems, and restore our wholeness.
Today, I serve as an educator, coach, speaker, and facilitator—guided always by the light of God. It’s not my ego that leads this work; it’s my devotion to being a vessel of healing and transformation for others. I believe we’re each here for a reason—and that through a holistic, embodied path, we can reclaim our truth, our power, and our purpose.
We are not here to stay small. We are here to remember who we are, to live our potential, and to help others do the same.
